Museum Regulations
- Admission is only permitted with a valid ticket. The ticket must be kept during your stay and shown upon request. Exchange or replacement of lost tickets is excluded. The day ticket loses its validity upon leaving the museum, unless another arrangement has been made with the entrance staff beforehand.
- For the safety of other visitors and yourself, access to the museum may be denied or you may be temporarily or permanently expelled from the museum for important reasons. Important reasons include persistent disturbance, significant violations and gross breaches of the museum regulations or staff instructions, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or carrying weapons. Permanent expulsion results in the ticket being withdrawn without replacement.
- Instructions from staff must be followed.
- Persons up to 14 years of age are only permitted entry when accompanied by an adult supervisor. Children and young people must always be supervised.
- Bringing dogs or other animals is not permitted. An exception will be made by the entrance staff if the necessity of a guide dog for people with disabilities is proven.
- Barriers and cordons must not be crossed.
- Eating and drinking is only permitted in designated areas.
- Playing music and lighting fires are prohibited. Smoking is not permitted inside the museum building.

- Those responsible for damage or soiling are liable. Costs for removal will be charged to them. Provided waste bins must be used.
- Lost property must be handed in immediately.
- No refund of the entrance fee will be given in the event of failure or closure of an installation or room.
- If a visitor suffers damage through no fault of their own, this must be reported to museum staff before leaving the museum. Claims for compensation are excluded if a possible and reasonable report of damage is made only after leaving the museum.
- The liability of the museum and its agents is limited to intent and gross negligence. This does not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health, or in the event of culpable breach of essential contractual obligations.
